Eddie Barcellos

Eddie Barcellos, Digital Marketing Consultant for NGOs


Eddie Barcellos holds a BA in Marketing with a minor in Psychology from San Diego State University. Having lived half his life in Rio de Janeiro and half in California, Eddie has been involved in digital marketing since 1998. With a passion for socio-environmental causes, Eddie enjoys using his professional skills to help NGOs achieve higher visibility to further their goals.

Two of his own projects, PreserveAssim.org and SOSniteroi.org, achieved enough mainstream media visibility to create positive impact in his native Rio de Janeiro prior to 2013, when Eddie moved back to Los Angeles to work with other projects.




Kofi Renner

Environmental Scientist

Kofi is an Environmental Scientist with five years of experience in marine pollution studies. He has a Masters degree in Environmental science from Brunel University London and has worked with the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research as a research officer, carrying out studies on the impact of priority pollutants in the Nigerian coastal zone.

He is part of a team that works with Ocean Conservancy’s International coastal cleanup to organise beach cleanup activities and raise awareness on marine debris affecting the Nigerian coastal zone. He lectures regularly on marine pollution and protection issues, including international conferences such as the 5th Marine debris conference in Hawaii in 2010.




MUDr. Oldřich Uttendorfský

Senior Consultant, United Nations, Environment and Governance, Oslo, Norway

Jan-Gustav Strandenaes is a consultant with the Dutch based ANPED - Northern Alliance for Sustainability and with United Nations Environment Programme and the Dutch-based, EU funded international NGO, ANPED (The Northern Alliance for Sustainability).

He is an expert on global environmental issues and sits on UNEP's first Global Steering Committee to help foster inter-regional dialogue. He is an integral member of the Safe Planet Campaign.




Dr. Bobby Lovell

Psychologist, Newport Beach, California

Bobby has a  Dr. of Psychology, a Masters in Social Ecology from University of California, Irvine; a MA and PhD in Psychology from CSPP, San Diego, California. Her Bachelors of Art was in English and Political Science from UCLA and she has practiced for over 20 years.

She ran a nursery school for visiting foreign families in Los Angeles, matching them with up to 50 American volunteers per week, all meeting in her yard.  Dr. Lovell also ran a business helping home owner associations on all kinds of environmental issues and was very active in environmental groups. She was chair of the Coastal Commission Advisory group that helped write the Master Plan for the City of Newport Beach which helped to keep public access to the beach and bay. She is a very proud grandmother, while still running her practice.




Claudia Salomon

Partner & Co-Chair, International Arbitration Practice, DLA Piper International New York City.

The Global Arbitration Review has named Ms. Salomon one of the world's top 30 women in international arbitration and one of its "45 under 45" in international arbitration. Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business cites her, noting that clients describe her as "a fantastic lawyer who is a key driving force behind the firm's growth in international arbitration."

She is included in the International Who's Who of Commercial Arbitration, where she is one of only 532 commercial arbitration lawyers worldwide recognized by that publication, and in the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers and the Guide to the World's Leading Women in Business Law. In 2005, Ms. Salomon won a Burton Award for Legal Writing Excellence for her article analyzing the major international arbitration rules.
